Blog#1
1.My workplace is called Stonebrae Elementary School and they teach grades 1-6. 2.Located in Hayward on Hayward Blvd, it looks like a prep school 3.About 2 teachers for every grade level including a music, P.E. and special-education teacher 4.Employs teachers with degrees and people who clean up and people who work well with the special needs 5.Most of the people there have a 4-year college degree 6.My workplace serves children and parents 7.The strengths of my workplace are they have really good academics and they have a good student to teacher ratio The weakness of my workplace are it’s really far up in the hills so people have to travel far to get there.

Blog#2   Mrs. Fugii: her job is teaching the second grade students in room 8.
A  typical day or week for my mentor:coming in before class starts and setting up the classroom for the students
getting their lessons ready such as making copies if needed etc…
teaches ALD,then her regular class comes in and she does English with them she also does yard duty at recess,
she then comes in and does reading with them, then after lunch she does math and social studies with them,
after school she cleans up the classroom and gets it ready for the next day grades work and she talks to parent if it’s needed

Blog#3My main  responsibility was assisting Ms.  Fugii with anything she needed done.
My title was teacher’s assistant. Some other task I completed over the weeks:
filling in the scantrons for the students test,
grading the students work,
helping the students who had trouble writing…
A regular day for me was: grading work while Ms. Fugii taught ALD,hand students back their work , help get the lessons together, read the children a story

Blog#4The purpose of my project is to teach Ms. Fugii’s 2nd grade class about the migration of the Pilgrims from England to the United States. With this project, I am hoping to show them the meaning of Thanksgiving and where the holiday originated. Also, I want them to work on their writing skills. Another thing I want to achieve from this is to for me to know how to create a lesson plan and to teach it.

Blog#5 what i did at my wle today is create the books for the students for my project.
I also talked with Mrs. Fugii about what day i would do the project and how i would do the project .

Blog #6 1.The leadership skills I used the most were Collaborate Productively and Communicate Powerfully. These leadership skills helped me do my work because without communicating powerfully I would not have been able to give directions to the students clearly and without collaborating productively with Ms. Fugii and Ms. Maria I would not have been able to finish making the books for the kids to use and I would not have known how to present this project to the students. .The leadership skill my mentor Ms. Fugii used the most was Thinking Critically .I used the leadership kills well at my WLE. The one I could work on is Completing projects effectively.

Blog#7 What I learned about myself was I am really good at helping others and I like working with kids.Always always be punctual for anything I am doing and always leave a good impreWhat I believe about this profession now is that people who are teachers put a lot of time and effort into knowing each of their students so that they can better serve them in their learning.  Teachers work hard.
The specific skills that I learned during my WLE that are important in this profession are to always be professional even if I get frustrated or tired and to make sure I have all the materials for the lesson plan I want to do ahead of time.ssion where ever I go because Imight have to go back there. If someone were to ask me why what I did at my WLE was important I would say it gives me work ethic and helps me figure out what I want to do.What I learned from my WLE will affect my future choices by making me think before  I speak and making sure I have solid plans.

Blog#8 In order to find my WLE and get hired, I had to ask a friend about her WLE and talk to the principal of the school.

The most effective way of looking for a job and getting hired is by staying professional and being persistent and also making sure it is definite.

Blog #9What I did today was fill in scantrons and grade work.  I improved as an intern through my consistent attendance and working hard and efficiently.  Normally I would have blown it off and said “whatever I can do it whenever,” but I tried really hard and I did my best to try and impress my mentor. My final thoughts on my WLE are it was awesome and I loved working with the kids and Ms.Fugii.

Blog#10 This will affect the WLE I look for next year by making me look earlier and try to find one that has to do with working with kids!As a result of my WLE, I think being a professional or a responsible adult in the work world means being mature and adaptable. If someone were to ask me why what I did at my WLE was important I would say it gives me work ethic and helps me figure out what I want to do.
What I learned from my WLE will affect my future choices by making me think before  I speak and making sure I have solid plans.
